Our “Secure Partnership” ethos is at the forefront of our manned guarding operation. In order to provide the highest possible levels of service all our security officers are trained to industry standards by our own SITO qualified instructor, as well as being vetted to BS 7858 standards in line with insurance requirements.

Protector security officers are provided with a company uniform ensuring a professional image at all times. In line with European regulations all our officers are issued with personal protection equipment (PPE) and a two-way radio or an alternative method of mobile communication. Communication devices are imperative for check calls and are linked to a dedicated 24-hr controller and our mobile inspectors. These provisions ensure all Health & Safety standards are met.

Prior to commencing any contract assignment instructions and risk assessments are completed by one of our senior management team. Clients are allocated a customer service manager to ensure continued communication between the partnership.

Our commercial and industrial officers will work to specific assignment instructions relating to the site conditions. These can range from an office block reception and patrol to factory shop floor patrols and systems checks, including Health & Safety and environmental monitoring.

Officers are trained to carry out various tasks specific to a busy and hazardous environment. These include site patrols, gate and access control, building checks and clients specific requirements. Patrols can be monitored with electronic patrol monitoring systems, available as part of a complete security package.

Good Gatehouse security should never interfere with the day to day running of any business. Our initial site survey and risk assessment allows us to compile site-specific assignment instructions enabling us to provide a quality service.

Our expertise can also assist our clients in providing best policy and working practice for any aspect of a gatehouse environment, ensuring high levels of security and efficiency.

Retail security is site specific and all our officers receive training relating to clients requirements, including law, retail awareness, retail security systems and customer service. Health & Safety procedures and incident reaction such as evacuation, IED and fire threat are also integral elements of the officers training.
